Those guys were fabulous, and their method of cheerful diagnosis is truly useful.

I miss those guys. I still have 30 or so new-to-me episodes of Car Talk in my stash. I’ve been listening to them very, very slowly, because not having any more left seems so bleak.

Yeah, I stopped listening a few years ago because I kept recognizing reruns. I hoped that if I stepped back from it for a while, I’d forget some of the more memorable calls and puzzlers, and be able to enjoy it with a clear mind again. I think it’s getting to be about that time...

I dig this. There should be more car/medical analogies. I always thought that it would be fun if there was a show where somebody like Dr House was diagnosing car problems in stead of medical conditions.. .

LMK if you want anything from my stash. I have most episodes from mid-2007 until the end in 2012.

Really? What format?

MP3, my friend. Also, I misspoke; I have nearly every episode since June 2009 , and also January-April of 2008. Nothing earlier than that.
